ZTE Axon 20 has a global score of 77.8, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z1's general score of 72.8. ZTE Axon 20 is a a lot newer and just a bit thinner phone than Xperia Z1, but it's also somewhat heavier. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the ZTE Axon 20 has older 10 version while Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4.
Sony Xperia Z1 has a brighter display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display. ZTE Axon 20 has a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
ZTE Axon 20 features a little faster CPU than Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores. ZTE Axon 20 captures way better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a back-facing camera with a way higher 64 megapixels resolution, a lot larger sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality, a lot higher (4K) video definition and a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
The ZTE Axon 20 features a superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a 41% more battery size.
Although ZTE Axon 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the ZTE Axon 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z1, resigning some features and specs.
