IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is better than the Xperia Z2's score of 72.9. IPhone 8 Plus's design is way newer and just a bit thinner than the Xperia Z2's, although it's heavier. Xperia Z2 counts with a slightly better screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z2 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a 64-bits processor and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z2, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 240 GB more internal storage.
