Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 7 has a general score of 81.2, which is better than the Xperia Z2's 72.9 overall score. Although the Asus ROG Phone 7 is notably newer than Xperia Z2, it is incredibly thicker and extremely heavier. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 7 has 13 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4.
The Xperia Z2 has a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 7, because although it has less CPU cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Xperia Z2 has a sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a lot smaller screen and a bit worse screen pixels density.
