Comparison review
Google Pixel 3a has a score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z2's 72.9 overall score. Google Pixel 3a is a just a bit lighter phone than the Xperia Z2, but both have the same thickness. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel 3a has the previous 11 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Xperia Z2 features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Sony Xperia Z2 has a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit lower display density and a little smaller display.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a better camera than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors, a lower (4K) video resolution and a way worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture. Google Pixel 3a counts with a quite bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Z2 has just a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 7% more battery size.
