Comparison review

The HTC U Ultra is a bit better than Xperia Z2, getting a 77 score against 72.9. Even though the HTC U Ultra is just a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z2, it's a little bit thinner and also incredibly newer. Xperia Z2 has a slightly better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, although it has a just a little lower screen density, a way lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little smaller display.

HTC U Ultra counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z2 features just a little better processing power than HTC U Ultra, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Xperia Z2 also counts with a GPU.

HTC U Ultra has a superior camera than Xperia Z2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a much lower resolution, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the HTC U Ultra also counts with a larger camera aperture for better low light photos and videos.

Xperia Z2 counts with just a little better battery duration than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 7 percent more battery capacity.

Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xperia Z2, giving up a couple specs and features.
