Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is better than Sony Xperia Z2, getting an 82.9 score against 72.9. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a much newer cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z2, although it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more cpu cores.
Xperia Z2 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a little bit smaller display, a way lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a very superior camera than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture and a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality pictures.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z2, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro costs a bit more money than the Xperia Z2, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
