Comparison review
The Huawei P30 has a global score of 81.7, which is much better than Xperia Z2's global score of 72.9. Even though the Huawei P30 is a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z2, it's just a little thinner and also a lot newer. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P30 has 10 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Huawei P30 features a bit better CPU than Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory. Xperia Z2 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch.
Huawei P30 has a very superior camera than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P30 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments, a much larger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Huawei P30 features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei P30 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z2, because it has a 14% more battery size.
The Huawei P30 costs a bit more money than the Xperia Z2, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
