Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is a lot better than the Xperia Z2, getting a score of 88.2 against 72.9. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version. Huawei P40 Pro is a way newer phone than Xperia Z2, but it's a bit thicker and a lot heavier.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a really smaller screen and a just a bit inferior pixels count in each inch in the display. Huawei P40 Pro has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Huawei P40 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro has superior battery duration than Xperia Z2, because it has a 31 percent more battery size.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a lot higher resolution back camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and a lot bigger sensor capturing much better quality photos and videos.
