Comparison review
LG G3 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z2, having a global score of 76.4 against 72.9. These phones come with Android OS, but the LG G3 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version, offering some extra features and performance tweaks. Although the LG G3 and Sony Xperia Z2 were released only 3 months apart, the LG G3 design is just a little bit lighter but also just a bit thicker.
The LG G3 has a little faster processing unit than Xperia Z2. Both of them have a Quad-Core processing unit, a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and a 3 GB RAM. LG G3 has a more vivid screen than Xperia Z2, because it has a bit bigger display, a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better count of pixels per inch in the display.
LG G3 has a superior memory for games and applications than Xperia Z2, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB, the LG G3 also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity. LG G3 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z2, although it has a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels resolution, a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photos or video in low light situations, a lower (4K) video quality and a much tinier camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors.
Xperia Z2 has just a bit longer battery performance than LG G3, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, LG G3 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this phone a great choice.
