Comparison review

The LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z2's 72.9 overall score. The LG G5 body is newer, just a bit thinner and a bit lighter than the Sony Xperia Z2. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS, but LG G5 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Sony Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4.

The Xperia Z2 has a bit more powerful processor than LG G5, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Z2 also counts with an extra GPU. Xperia Z2 counts with a little sharper screen than LG G5, although it has a bit smaller screen, a lot worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a little bit lower pixel number in each screen inch.

LG G5 has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB internal storage. The LG G5 captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition, a camera with lot less mega pixels resolution and a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, it also counts with a bigger aperture.

Xperia Z2 counts with a little better battery life than LG G5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, LG G5 is also a bit cheaper.
