The Moto G6 Plus has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2's overall score of 72.9. Moto G6 Plus is a noticeably newer and a little thinner phone than Sony Xperia Z2, although it is also a bit heavier. Sony Xperia Z2 has a more vivid display than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.

Motorola Moto G6 Plus features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Motorola Moto G6 Plus also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G6 Plus's CPU is very similar to Xperia Z2's processor, because although the Motorola Moto G6 Plus has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.

The Moto G6 Plus's battery performance is just as good as the battery duration in Xperia Z2. Moto G6 Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality, a much worse resolution back facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture.
