Comparison review

The Motorola Moto G7 Plus is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2, having a 76.1 score against 72.9. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto G7 Plus has the older 10 version while Sony Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version. Even though Motorola Moto G7 Plus is much newer than Sony Xperia Z2, it's a bit heavier and just a little thicker.

Xperia Z2 features a sharper display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better display density. The Xperia Z2 features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has lesser RAM and 4 lesser CPU cores (although faster), it also counts with a GPU.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, a way less megapixels resolution back facing camera and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations.

The Moto G7 Plus has a much better storage to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB. Xperia Z2 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.
