Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro has a score of 77.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2's score of 72.9. The OnePlus 8 Pro body is a lot newer than the Sony Xperia Z2's, although it's somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit better processing unit than Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Xperia Z2, because it has a much larger screen, a just a little better pixel density and a way higher 1440 x 3168 resolution. OnePlus 8 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a way more MP back facing camera, a much larger sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and a larger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. OnePlus 8 Pro has a superior battery performance than Xperia Z2, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia Z2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Sony Xperia Z2, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
