Galaxy A5 (2017) is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2, getting a 75.8 score against 72.9. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is a way newer cellphone, and it is also a little lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Sony Xperia Z2. Xperia Z2 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A5 (2017). They have the same pixel density, the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution and a same size screen.
The Xperia Z2 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has 4 lesser processing cores (but faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z2 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
