Galaxy C7 has a general score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2's 72.9 general score. Although the Galaxy C7 is just a little heavier than the Xperia Z2, it's somewhat thinner and also a lot newer. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy C7 has 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Xperia Z2 features a sharper screen than Galaxy C7, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z2 also counts with a little bit better pixels count per inch of display. The Galaxy C7 features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Galaxy C7 also has 64 GB internal memory.
The Xperia Z2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy C7, because although it has lesser RAM and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy C7 counts with just a bit better battery performance than Xperia Z2, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
Samsung Galaxy C7 has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a lot less MP resolution camera in the back and a much lower 1920x1080 video quality, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low-light situations.
