The Galaxy M12 is a little bit better than Xperia Z2, with a global score of 80 against 72.9. Galaxy M12's design is newer than Xperia Z2's, but it's somewhat thicker and a lot heavier.
Sony Xperia Z2 has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot better pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy M12 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z2, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features a little better performance than Galaxy M12, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser CPU cores , it also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy M12 features a way better battery performance than Xperia Z2, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Samsung Galaxy M12 captures much clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z2, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a way higher 48 megapixels resolution back camera.
