The Galaxy Note3 is a little bit better than Xperia Z2, getting a 77.7 score against 72.9. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note3 has the older 4.4.2 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy Note3 is better than Xperia Z2, it must be told that it's also a a bit heavier and a little thicker phone.
The Xperia Z2 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z2 also has a graphics processor. Sony Xperia Z2 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z2 also counts with a bit higher screen density.
Galaxy Note3 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia Z2, although it has a much less MP back facing camera, a lower (4K) video definition, a lot tinier back camera sensor taking way worse quality pictures and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video.
