Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S20 is much better than the Xperia Z2, with a 94.8 score against 72.9. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S20 has older 13 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4. The Samsung Galaxy S20 is a notably newer and just a little thinner phone than the Xperia Z2, although it's also just a little heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and more cores. The Xperia Z2 features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S20, although it has a little smaller screen, a lot worse pixels density and a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Galaxy S20 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S20 counts with a way better camera than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a back camera with much less mega pixels, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments, a way larger camera sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality and a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.

The Galaxy S20 is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia Z2, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
