Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 Plus is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2, with a 78.1 score against 72.9. The Galaxy S5 Plus design has the same thickness than the Xperia Z2, but it is somewhat lighter. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 Plus has the previous 4.4.2 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a little better display density. Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit faster processor than Xperia Z2, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a better graphics processing unit running at 500 megahertz.
The Galaxy S5 Plus takes better videos and photos than Xperia Z2, although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, a much less megapixels resolution back camera, a smaller aperture which is not good for taking pictures in poorly lited situations and a worse 3840x2160 video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with as much memory capacity to store more apps and games as the Sony Xperia Z2 one, they have the same 16 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Xperia Z2 has a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 14 percent greater battery capacity.
