Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 Sport has a global score of 77.8, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2's global score of 72.9. The Galaxy S5 Sport design is just a little thicker but just a little bit lighter than Sony Xperia Z2, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S5 Sport has the previous 4.4.2 version while Sony Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a little bit better screen than Xperia Z2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 4 cpu cores and a 450 MHz graphics co-processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's memory for applications and games is just as good as Xperia Z2's one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Galaxy S5 Sport shoots better pictures and videos than Xperia Z2, although it has a worse video definition, a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality, a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos in poorly lited situations and a back-facing camera with a way lower resolution.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is also by far the cheapest, making this phone a no doubt choice.
