Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 85.1, which is better than Xperia Z2's global score of 72.9. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 has newer 5.0 version and Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4, so it offers a couple nice extra features. Galaxy S6's construction is newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than Xperia Z2.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit superior processor than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a 64 bits CPU, a larger number of cores and a better graphics processing unit running at 650 megahertz. The Galaxy S6 counts with a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a better pixels quantity per inch of display.
