Comparison review

The Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is better than the Xperia Z2's score of 72.9. Galaxy S8's design is much newer, a little thinner and just a little lighter than the Xperia Z2. The Xperia Z2 and the Galaxy S8 count with very similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy S8 has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM.

Xperia Z2 has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S8, although it has a bit smaller screen, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a way lower pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy S8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia Z2, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution, a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a tinier sensor taking worse quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and video.

The Galaxy S8 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 48 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z2 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 3000mAh.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a great choice.
