Comparison review

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a score of 80.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2's score of 72.9. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a incredibly newer cellphone than the Xperia Z2, but it's noticeably heavier and extremely thicker. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4, so it provides the user some nice extra features.

Xperia Z2 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has way lesser pixels per inch of screen and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Xperia Z2, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Xperia Z2 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video quality, a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z2, because it has a 41 percent more battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z2. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xperia Z2, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
