The Sony Xperia 1 V is much better than Sony Xperia Z2, having a general score of 82.7 against 72.9. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 V has the previous 13 version while Sony Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 V is extremely newer than the Sony Xperia Z2, it's a little thicker and somewhat heavier.
Xperia Z2 counts with a much faster processing unit than Xperia 1 V, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Z2 features a little bit better screen than Xperia 1 V, although it has a much smaller display, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much lower count of pixels per display inch.
Sony Xperia 1 V features a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 240 GB more internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 V features a greater camera than Sony Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia 1 V also has a larger aperture for better low-light photography and videos, a much larger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
The Sony Xperia 1 V features a much better battery lifetime than Xperia Z2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
