Comparison review
Xperia Z3 is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone, getting a overall score of 77.3 against 77.1. The Xperia Z3 is a way older and a little thicker cellphone than the Asus ROG Phone, but Sony managed to make it somewhat lighter anyway. The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a bit brighter screen and a little better screen pixels density.
The Asus ROG Phone has a bit superior processor than Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Sony Xperia Z3 shoots greater photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ROG Phone has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone features improved battery duration than Xperia Z3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Xperia Z3 is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
