Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than Xperia Z3, with a score of 79.5 against 77.3. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it counts with some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 is a little heavier than the Xperia Z3, it's a little bit thinner and also a lot newer.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a processing unit that is just as good as the processing unit in Sony Xperia Z3, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a really smaller screen and much less brightness, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia Z3 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a 0.43 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same video definition, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a way more mega-pixels camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 counts with longer battery performance than Xperia Z3, because it has a 25% more battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xperia Z3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
