Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z3's 77.3 score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro design is notably newer and a little bit thinner than Xperia Z3's, although it's a little heavier. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a processor that is very similar to Xperia Z3's processor, because although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia Z3 has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit worse pixels density. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much better camera than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images, a much larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has improved battery duration than Xperia Z3, because it has a 31% more battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Sony Xperia Z3, giving up a couple specs and features.
