Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z3's overall score of 77.3. The Huawei P20 Pro design is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner than the Sony Xperia Z3's, but it is just a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Huawei P20 Pro has 10 version and Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Xperia Z3 counts with a little faster processor than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a GPU. The Sony Xperia Z3 has a sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better pixels density.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Huawei P20 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot more mega pixels back camera, a larger aperture and a much bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
The Huawei P20 Pro has better battery lifetime than Xperia Z3, because it has a 25% greater battery size.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z3, giving up some specifications.
