Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3's global score of 77.3. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version, so it offers lots of additional features and enhanced performance. The LG V30S ThinQ body is notably newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than the Xperia Z3.

The Xperia Z3 features a brighter display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, a little bit smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution. LG V30S ThinQ features a CPU that's very similar to the processor in Sony Xperia Z3, because although the LG V30S ThinQ has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores (but slower) and a larger amount of RAM memory.

LG V30S ThinQ has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z3, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. Xperia Z3 captures a bit better pictures and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 20.7 megapixels resolution and a lot bigger camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z3, letting go a couple features and specs.
