The Xperia Z3 is a little bit better than the Motorola Defy (2021), getting a global score of 77.3 against 77.2. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z3 has 4.4.4 version while Motorola Defy (2021) has Android 11, so it offers a couple additional features and a performance increase. The Xperia Z3 is an older device than the Motorola Defy (2021), but Sony managed to build it notably lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
Xperia Z3 counts with a little faster processor than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a lower number of cores and 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Xperia Z3 has a much sharper display than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way greater display pixels density.
The Motorola Defy (2021) has a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3, because it has more internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Motorola Defy (2021) counts with just a bit better camera than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Motorola Defy (2021) also has a lot more mega-pixels back camera, a larger aperture for better low light photos and video, better video frame rate and a way bigger sensor.
The Motorola Defy (2021) features a really longer battery duration than Xperia Z3, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh.
