Comparison review

Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is much better than Sony Xperia Z3's 77.3 score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version. The Motorola edge body is a lot newer, but a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z3.

The Xperia Z3 has a much sharper display than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater display density. Motorola edge features a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z3, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB.

Xperia Z3 has a little faster CPU than Motorola edge, because although it has 4 less CPU cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Motorola edge counts with a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.

Motorola edge features a superior camera than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola edge also has a much bigger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low-light images.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z3. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xperia Z3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
