Comparison review

The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is a little bit better than Xperia Z3, with a 77.4 score against 77.3. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is a newer cellphone, and it's also much thinner and somewhat lighter than Xperia Z3. The Xperia Z3 has a bit faster processor than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser CPU cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Xperia Z3 counts with a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a quite better pixel density. The Xperia Z3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a way better 20.7 MP resolution camera in the back.

Moto Z2 Play features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Z3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia Z3 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.

Although Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it costs more money than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
