Comparison review

The Motorola One Zoom has an overall score of 80, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z3's general score of 77.3. Motorola One Zoom is a heavier cellphone than Xperia Z3, but they are equally thin. The Xperia Z3 features just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU.

Sony Xperia Z3 has an incredibly better looking screen than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Motorola One Zoom takes better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola One Zoom also has a back camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution, a bigger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos.

Motorola One Zoom has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB, the Motorola One Zoom also has 128 GB internal memory. The Motorola One Zoom has better battery duration than Xperia Z3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.

Although Motorola One Zoom is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Motorola One Zoom, else you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia Z3, giving up a couple features and specifications.
