Comparison review
Xperia Z3 has an overall score of 77.3, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 UW's global score of 75.9. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS, but Xperia Z3 has a newer 4.4.4 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version. The Xperia Z3 construction is just a little lighter than OnePlus 8 UW, although it's somewhat thicker and was released 6 years before.
OnePlus 8 UW has a bit faster processor than Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 5 GB more RAM memory. Xperia Z3 counts with a little more vivid screen than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a lot more opaque screen, a way smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel amount per inch of display.
The OnePlus 8 UW takes much better videos and photos than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger sensor shooting higher quality pictures, faster video frame rate, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and video and a back-facing camera with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 UW has superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z3, because it has a 34 percent greater battery capacity.
Xperia Z3 is not only the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
