Comparison review

The Galaxy Fold is much better than Xperia Z3, with a 97.6 score against 77.3. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it counts with some extra features. Even though Galaxy Fold is way heavier than the Xperia Z3, it's much thinner and noticeably newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 9 GB more RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores. The Xperia Z3 counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a much lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels quantity in each inch of screen.

The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Fold, because although it has lower video frame rates and a lot tinier aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking better quality videos and photos and a way higher 20.7 MP resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Fold has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z3, because it has a 37 percent larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z3. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xperia Z3, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
