The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a quite greater screen density. The Xperia Z3 counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has 4 less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

Galaxy J7 Max counts with a little bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy J7 Max also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. The Sony Xperia Z3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with a much higher resolution.
