Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a general score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3's 77.3 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an older cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z3, but it is a little lighter and a little thinner anyway. These devices work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4.

The Xperia Z3 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a quite better amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with more storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note 3. They have a 450 MHz graphics processor, the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core CPU. Xperia Z3 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xperia Z3 also has a much bigger back camera sensor, a back camera with much more megapixels and a bigger aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3's battery life is just as good as Xperia Z3's battery duration.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xperia Z3, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
