Galaxy Note7 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z3, getting a general score of 79.5 against 77.3. Galaxy Note7's design is newer, just a bit lighter and thinner than Sony Xperia Z3. Sony Xperia Z3 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note7, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch of screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Note7 has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z3, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 256 GB. Xperia Z3 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z3 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Galaxy Note7 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Xperia Z3, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia Z3 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a bigger sensor and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
