Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a general score of 91.1, which is much better than the Xperia Z3's global score of 77.3. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the previous 14 version while Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a heavier but noticeably thinner phone than the Xperia Z3.

The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a much better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has less RAM memory and 4 less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Xperia Z3 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has a lot smaller display, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and way less brightness, it also counts with a quite higher pixels density.

Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage capacity.
