Xperia XZ Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z3's overall score of 77.3. Even though Xperia XZ Premium is heavier than the Sony Xperia Z3, it's thinner and also a lot newer. Sony Xperia Z3 features just a little better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has lesser RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a bit sharper display than Xperia Z3, because it has a little larger screen, a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution, a way better display density and a bit more screen brightness. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium's camera is just as good as Sony Xperia Z3's camera, and although the Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a back camera with lesser megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, they both have the same aperture and a same size sensor.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a battery duration that's very similar to Xperia Z3's battery lifetime, although the Xperia XZ Premium also has a 1 percent bigger battery size.
