Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is a bit better than Xperia Z3's 77.3 score. Xperia XZ2 Premium's body is incredibly newer, but much heavier and much thicker than the Xperia Z3. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a slightly better looking display than Xperia Z3, because it has a bit larger screen, much more pixels per inch of display, much more brightness and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z3, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better processing unit than Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia Z3, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better camera than Xperia Z3, because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, and they both have a 0.43 inches camera sensor, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z3, letting go some specs and features.
