Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z3's 77.3 overall score. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version while Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it gives you some additional features and performance enhancements. The Xperia Z5 Premium is a newer and thinner phone than the Sony Xperia Z3, although it's also just a little bit heavier.

The Xperia Z3 counts with just a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have a 450 megahertz GPU and a 3 GB RAM. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a better screen than Xperia Z3, because it has a lot better pixel amount per inch in the screen, a lot better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a bit larger screen.

The Xperia Z5 Premium captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a 0.43 inches back camera sensor and the same video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back facing camera with more mega-pixels and a bigger camera aperture.

Xperia Z5 Premium has a little bit better memory to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 200 GB. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a little longer battery life than Xperia Z3, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z3, giving up some specs and features.
