Comparison review

The HTC One M9 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3+, with a 77.7 score against 73.7. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the HTC One M9 body is just a little heavier and thicker than Sony Xperia Z3+. These devices come with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.

HTC One M9 features a superior hardware performance than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bits CPU, a graphics processor and more cores. The HTC One M9 counts with a bit better looking display than Xperia Z3+, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080, the HTC One M9 also counts with a just a bit greater pixel amount per inch in the display.

Xperia Z3+ takes a little bit better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z3+ also has a back facing camera with more megapixels, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and a larger camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.

The HTC One M9's memory to install games and applications is just as good as the Xperia Z3+ one, both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB and equal 32 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia Z3+ counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 2930mAh battery size against 2840mAh.

The HTC One M9 costs a little more money than the Xperia Z3+, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
