Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is better than Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 has a newer 10 version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features. Although the Huawei P40 is noticeably newer than the Xperia Z3+, it is somewhat thicker and heavier.
Huawei P40 features a better performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Xperia Z3+ counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels number in each inch in the display.
The Huawei P40 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P40 also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and pictures, faster 60 fps video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and video.
Huawei P40 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei P40 counts with greater battery performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 costs a lot more than the Xperia Z3+, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
