Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Duo has a score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Duo has the newer 10 version and Sony Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0. The Microsoft Surface Duo is a much newer and thinner cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z3+, although it's way heavier.

The Microsoft Surface Duo features a more powerful processing unit than Xperia Z3+, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z3+ counts with a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater pixel density.

The Microsoft Surface Duo features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Duo features longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity instead of 2930mAh.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ shoots better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality and a same size aperture, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also counts with a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z3+. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z3+, letting go some specifications.
