Moto G9 Play is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z3+, with a score of 76.7 against 73.7. The Moto G9 Play body is newer, but much thicker and a lot heavier than Sony Xperia Z3+. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Moto G9 Play has a newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, offering some extra features.
Xperia Z3+ features a lot better looking screen than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080 resolution and a much higher display pixel density. The Moto G9 Play features a bit faster CPU than Xperia Z3+, because it has more RAM and a higher number of 2000 MHz cores.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z3+, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Moto G9 Play takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has faster video frame rates, a lot better resolution camera, a way bigger back camera sensor taking much better quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photography.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a very superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a 71% more battery size.
