Moto Z2 Play has a general score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Even though Moto Z2 Play is a little heavier than Sony Xperia Z3+, it's somewhat thinner and incredibly newer. The Moto Z2 Play features a bit faster processing unit than Xperia Z3+, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.
Xperia Z3+ has a sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Xperia Z3+ also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z3+, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2930mAh. Sony Xperia Z3+ captures better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also counts with a much better resolution back facing camera.
Moto Z2 Play is more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z3+, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
