Comparison review

The Motorola Moto Z3 has a global score of 77.6, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3+'s overall score of 73.7. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Motorola Moto Z3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version, so it offers some nice extra features. The Motorola Moto Z3 design has the same thickness than the Xperia Z3+, but it is a little bit heavier.

The Motorola Moto Z3 has a quite superior performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster). Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a little bit better screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ captures slightly better pictures and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also has a way bigger camera sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.

Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z3 has a bit better battery duration than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 2% larger battery capacity.

Although Moto Z3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z3+. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Moto Z3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z3+, letting go some specs and features.
