Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 UW has an overall score of 75.9, which is a little bit better than Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Even though the OnePlus 8 UW is a lot newer than the Xperia Z3+, it is extremely heavier and thicker. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but OnePlus 8 UW has a more recent 10 version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version, offering some additional features and performance tweaks.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a superior processing unit than Xperia Z3+, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster). OnePlus 8 UW features a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has a quite worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 8 UW shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels, a bigger back-facing camera sensor, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and videos and higher video frame rates.
OnePlus 8 UW has a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z3+. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xperia Z3+, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
