Comparison review
The Galaxy Alpha has a global score of 76.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 score. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Alpha has the older 4.4.4 version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy Alpha is a a lot lighter and just a bit thinner cellphone than the Xperia Z3+.
The Galaxy Alpha features a superior hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with 3 more cores and an additional graphics processing unit. Xperia Z3+ counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit bigger display.
Xperia Z3+ features a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia Z3+ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 2930mAh battery capacity against 1860mAh.
Xperia Z3+ features a better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia Z3+ also has a bigger camera aperture and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z3+. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z3+, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
